Keep the timeline simple enough to enjoy the wedding
Rome weddings can become unnecessarily complicated when too many portrait locations are added to a day that already includes a ceremony, transfers, dinner and guests who have travelled a long way.
I start with the wedding itself, then fit photography into the natural gaps instead of building the day around a photo route.

The location and schedule tell me far more than a generic shot list. They show where travel time, access and light may affect the photography.

A short portrait session in good light is normally stronger than several rushed attempts spread through the day.

If the ceremony and reception are in different places, the transfer belongs in the photography plan. I do not assume that a beautiful location is useful just because it is nearby on a map.
